Why I do my blogs?

Hi, folks… You probably have seen most of my blogs if you look closely at my sites here on WordPress. You can tell I have an eclectic sense of style and more. πŸ™‚ I’m creative and always trying to figure out a way to make money to break even. Or trying out the latest beauty product or freebie I’ve gotten. People never forget me when they see me. I make a ton of people smile on the street or in stores.

If you’ve followed this blog since the beginning, you know I started this as a school project. Now I run 5 or at least trying too. πŸ™‚ lol However, there’s more to this story. Β I’ll tell you why I do my blogs. It gives me a reason to be living. I was homeschooled all my elementary, junior, and high school career. I didn’t go out much nor did I want to hang out with anyone. I was very self disciplined and independent. I went to cosmetology school, believing maybe I’d find new friends and people to keep in touch, but that flopped on me. Β I then have studied all my college career online. I’ve tried a few things and talked to a few people. I have one “real” friend, however, he gets upset with me often for showing him too much “love.” I’m a giving person, and sometimes I guess that becomes too much for others.

Now I’m trying to set up a business, but I don’t have any people to get the word out. It becomes a struggle. My blog presence helps immensely in this area. The sad part is it makes you regret how God has made you. However, on the bright side I’m very independent and know probably more than the normal person. I believe that I can use the skills God has been so kind to give me, to help people find something about themselves. So many millennials struggle out there like I do, but it is because they weren’t prepared for the real world at all. Some struggle but won’t admit it. High school counselors didn’t help. College has become a glorified High School and advisers don’t guide you there either. It’s really sad to say that, but I’m seeing it.

Hence the reason I have made this blog and others, is really probably deep down a sense of belonging. My blogs are cool and are a expression of myself.

I thank you for all whoΒ follow me… I hope you enjoy my crafts… πŸ™‚ Check out my other blogs too when you get a chance.. πŸ™‚

My new Store

Hi, folks… Well. I’ve been busy making my little amigurumis. πŸ™‚ Love them so much.. I started putting them on sale online… Here’s the store

gabiscreations.storenvy.com

I only have a kirby for sale at this time, but I’ll post more awesome products as soon as I can… Kirby will be $15.00 plus shippinKirby.jpgg. You can pay me through Paypal, which is very convenient. I’m still working on the shipping stuff, but I’ll let you guys know later… There is some editing to do on that part of the site.

Here’s what Kirby looks like. He’s made to order and I require at least a week to get him made and shipped to you.

Until next time, Have fun crafting!

Amigurumis

Hi, folks as promised I took a picture of the amigurumis I’ve been making. πŸ™‚

My amigurumis: back to front (pikachu, kirby, and yoshi)

I’m making these to put up for sale at a local store. If that doesn’t work, I’m going to be putting them up for sale online. πŸ™‚ I’m trying to decide on what store outlet to sell them on. Β I’ve handmade them and each one has its own personality. I don’t know what happens, but the object always seems a little different after I finish it. πŸ™‚ lol I think it is something to do with tension.

Yoshi, the green dinosaur, takes the most time. He takes a couple of days to complete when all is said and done, because he has a lot of detail work. Kirby is the pink creature. He’s cool and easy to make in a few hours. Pikachu, the yellow looking rabbit (lol we Pokemon lovers know he’s an electrical type and is really a rodent), takes me a good day to make. I’m falling in love with them all and hate to part with them, but they are my bread and butter for now.

I want to give a Shoutout the creators of the pattern: 53stitches, nerdigurumi, and Beverly Arnold’s Baby Dino pattern on Ravelry. I’ve had to tweak the patterns because they always change size, but the original patterns came from those creators. THANK YOU, guys!

Stay tuned for more awesome crafts!

More and More and More crafts

Howdy, Folks.. I’ve been so busy getting my new businesses off the ground. I’ve just started AVON this past month. It is having some difficulty getting on its feet. If you are interested please take a look at my site, and see all the cool and fashionable items availible. While there check out my AVON blog and also take a look at my beauty blog and personal webpage related to my businesses and services I offer.

Right now, I’m trying to make an inventory for a store I’m going to sell in. That store is Jay Street Games located at the Berkshire Mall in Lanesboro, MA. I’m really excited to show you my cool amigurumis. I’m making Kirby, Yoshi, and Pikachu. I can’t wait to start giving my little “babies” a new home.

Also this past month I made this cool hat. I’m picturing it below. I had to make several to fit a little girl’s correctly. I found the original pattern at this site, however, I had to improvise and create my own pattern. It took me a while.

Watch for my other craft pictures soon. Again, happy crafting and enjoy the rest of the 2016-02-09_215019385_A0602_iOS (1).jpgwinter… πŸ™‚

More crafting ahead

Oh boy!! Guess its been awhile folks. Got busy again… Finishing up my wedding planning course I’ve been taking. Yes, I’m almost done. The final projects were getting me busy!!!

Upcoming posts:

Shortly, I’m posting about my latest Pokemon creation. Pikachu! We all love Pikachu and thanks to the designer at 53stitches.tumblr.com, Pikachu has come to life for me. So watch for that post soon.

My Martha Stewart Loom and I aren’t getting along. The relationship doesn’t seem to be working out. lol I can crochet like crazy, but the loom makes me feel handicapped for some reason. I don’t know what is causing that. Therefore with every relationship, there isΒ going to be hardships, so I got to try to work with it. πŸ™‚ It’s me and not the loom. πŸ˜€ Although, I think I’m going to do a review on the loom shortly, because I have a few complaints about it.

Stay tuned… And Keep crafting

Hearts always,

Gabby
