Here are my critters… :-)

I’m so happy to share with you my new critters. I posted them on Instagram for my followers, who are becoming a lot of spammers. (That is annoying!) I know it is late but I have to share these with you. I love my critters and my brother and best friend (who is in Finland I’m sure playing Smash Bros on Wii U, shout out to x45x) loved them.

Here’s Baymax.. He’s tiny and cute. Ian loved him. πŸ™‚

Then there’s bulbasaur. He’s seriously tiny. Tinier than I thought he’d be. I found the pattern on Ravelry and I want to thank Nicole’s Nerdy Knots for the pattern.

My #bulbasaur #mini #amigurumi. So happy!!! #itsforchristmas I love him he's cute…

At this point, I’m feeling pretty serious about crafting and crocheting these critters. I’ve been doing them for almost a year and I really love them. I’ve opened an Etsy store, but I don’t get many customers. I’m thinking about maybe going into town to see if the Gifted Child would be interested. Β It’s a possibly if I could sell these things I’d make big money. πŸ™‚

Let me know what you all think.

I found the pattern on ravelry, but they always are slightly tweaked and I make them look a certain way some how. πŸ™‚ He’s somewhat, cute isn’t he? πŸ˜‰

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Have a craftastic day!!

Amigurumis

Hi, folks as promised I took a picture of the amigurumis I’ve been making. πŸ™‚

My amigurumis: back to front (pikachu, kirby, and yoshi)

I’m making these to put up for sale at a local store. If that doesn’t work, I’m going to be putting them up for sale online. πŸ™‚ I’m trying to decide on what store outlet to sell them on. Β I’ve handmade them and each one has its own personality. I don’t know what happens, but the object always seems a little different after I finish it. πŸ™‚ lol I think it is something to do with tension.

Yoshi, the green dinosaur, takes the most time. He takes a couple of days to complete when all is said and done, because he has a lot of detail work. Kirby is the pink creature. He’s cool and easy to make in a few hours. Pikachu, the yellow looking rabbit (lol we Pokemon lovers know he’s an electrical type and is really a rodent), takes me a good day to make. I’m falling in love with them all and hate to part with them, but they are my bread and butter for now.

I want to give a Shoutout the creators of the pattern: 53stitches, nerdigurumi, and Beverly Arnold’s Baby Dino pattern on Ravelry. I’ve had to tweak the patterns because they always change size, but the original patterns came from those creators. THANK YOU, guys!

Stay tuned for more awesome crafts!

My crafts

Hello, folks…

Today, let us talk about some crafts I have been working on and the use of social media with it. I use a lot of the Internet for ideas, and I have decided to look into Pinterest and YouTube for some ideas in beading and crafts.

Pinterest has so many tutorials flowing through it. Do I understand pinning? No, I just don’t understand all that, but I like being able to see ideas. It makes creativity flow freely and lets you come up with ideas you can use.Β  However, YouTube is my favorite because I can see how to make and create things and slow down and try it myself. I hope that can attach some pictures of some of my crafts to show you all soon.

What I found on YouTube was a great series called Bhooked Crochet. I haven’t finished the entire series yet, but it made me want to start crocheting. My grandmother use to crochet and I still have many of her Afghans. Those are lasting heirlooms that mean so much to me. I also think it is a great way to make gifts. I’ve really enjoyed the series on Bhooked, and it allowed you to take your time in learning basic techniques.Β  I think that social media has been great forΒ  the business industry because it allows consumers to gain a bigger perspective on them. Plus, I found that it also can create inspiration for you, the crafter, in order to build your own business.

Next time, I think I’ll show you a couple of my crocheting projects and where I got the patterns. Then we’ll go for the beading I like to do. Then paper crafts.Β  Then we’ll look into some beauty products and other stuff along with that. Oh did I mention I like figuring out the latest ways to get free products, plus make some extra moo-laa (aka cash)? I also love to organize things and like to travel. I mean Cruise Ship Traveling. And so much more to come!!! So this blog is full of fun!!!

See ya next time!!!
